The Geotechnical Depth Review Class covers all the topics listed in the NCEES Geotechnical Depth Exam Specifications. Amongst the topics covered in this class are: Site Characterization which includes subsurface exploration analysis, Drilling and Sampling techniques, Soil Classification, Soil Mechanics Testing and Analysis, Earth Structures, and Earth Retaining Structures, Shallow Foundations, and Deep Foundations, and Earthquake Engineering. The class has a total of 85 hours of lecture and problems solving. A 8-hour simulation exam, which includes 80 problems split into two parts, is offered at the end of the review class to provide students an opportunity to experience the pressure of the real exam.
