Transportation

Transportation PE Curriculum covers both the Transportation and Traffic concepts in depth along with all necessary parts of the civil engineering concepts (such as pavement design, hydraulics, engineering econ, project management etc.). EET course has been updated for computer based test (CBT). Please review the course offerings pre and post April 2024 exam specification changes.

Breadth course: The Breadth review sessions cover all NCEES required topics redesigned for computer based test (CBT) for the morning session of the exam: Project Planning, Means and Methods, Soil Mechanics, Structural Mechanics, Hydraulics and Hydrology, Geometrics, Materials, and Site Development. We carefully developed the materials to make sure that you can solve the problems easily and confidently.

Transportation PE course: The redesigned course for computer-based testing (CBT) provides discussion in Geometrics (horizontal and vertical curves, sight distances, and intersection layout), traffic theory, traffic capacity and level of services, traffic signals, traffic control, roadside design, pedestrians/bikes facilities, pavement design, culverts, and traffic safety. The class has 40 hours of professional live instructions, weekly problem-solving sessions (total 5 sessions), and five CBT quizzes. The binder is well organized and has approximately 600 problems to practice, two 4-hour simulated exams, which include 40 problems, are offered at the end of the review class to provide students an opportunity to experience the pressure of the real exam.

What People Are Saying

“Your availability and quick responses have truly made my studying more efficient and effective.  Your lectures and class notes were of the highest quality.”

Micah F., West Monroe, LA

“Samir was extremely professional and friendly during the lectures and his genuine personality and delivery of the subject material made the lectures interesting despite the length of the lectures.”

Cindy L., San Leandro, CA

“Samir is great!!! Like the fact, the class finished 2 almost 3 weeks before the test, so we have time to overview problems. I would never have done as many problems we did in class. The extra classes were so important for a complete understanding of a topic! Well taught class by a great teacher! Certainly would recommend it to a peer.”

Liz H., New York, NY
